Volkswagen Vento and Polo launched with 6 speed auto 1.0 L engine. The Vento and Polo which was powered by 1.2 L engine has been replaced by the engine which is currently powering Skoda Rapid.Prices for the Polo 1.0 L AT is Rs 9.67 lakhs and Vento TSI Highline plus 1.0 L prices are 12.99 lakhs.Both the vehicles generate 110 bhp and 175 Nm of torque same as the Skoda Rapid.

Both the vehicles are well built which is why you will feel comfortable raving in high speeds since the moment you accelerate the vehicle will cross 100 kmpl in under 11 sec. Both the vehicles has been degraded in terms of engine from 1.2 liter DSG 7 speed to a cost effective 1.0 Turbo charged engine which will deliver more milages then it's previous version.

The Polo 1.0 L ATis equipped with Touch Screen and Four Airbags and is having the GTI inspired seats which will give Milage of 16 kmpl.Its also loaded with features like the connected apps.

Surprised to find the vehicle in the list,aged old vehicle but still having good sales figures without having any of the features and luxury like the vehicles mentioned above.Mahindra Bolero has made a name and a very particular spot in all its years wherein still the buyer goes for this vehicle knowing it's lack of features.However the new Mahindra bolero is having EBS and auto stop start to increase the mileage since it gives a decent mileage of 15 kmlp with a huge engine which can even pull a truck at its back.The USP of the vehicle is it's raw power, off-road capability and ability of the engine to pull from 5 th gear also from a halt.It may not have Airbag but the body on chassis gives it much needed protection from crash.

Skoda Rapid 2020 Price, Images, Review | Is it good to buy Skoda Rapid

The year 2020 has seen Automakers running for Engines that are Turbocharged and car enthusiast are loving the thrill which this relatively small engine provides.

I am speaking about the Skoda Rapid which had first launched the Rapid with a three cylinder engine which produces 175 N-m of torque @ 1750 rpm. The vehicle became a hit for Skoda since the engine specs with that much power was what people wanted in a very low starting price of 7.49 lakhs since same power was offered by other competitors at a very high price. Skoda had to stop booking from the Rapid Rider variant since the waiting period was long for the vehicle as demand became high.

 

Skoda relaunched the Rapid Rider variant as rapid rider plus and the price was slightly increased to 7.99 lakhs but still the price was competitive to its rivals Hyundai Verna 1.0 and Volkswagen Vento 1.0. Skoda had offered the turbocharged engine with its base variant.

Thar 2020 a legend is reborn, after much speculation and spy shots from different parts of the country Mahindra Thar was announced on 15th August on our Independence Day.Thar has its legacy of its own and being a tough offroad vehicle it's just wow after looking at its design and the overall look and feel.

Now that the dates are announced of its arrival on 2nd Oct on the occasion Gandhi Jayanti.People are more eager to touch and feel the new Mahindra Thar 4 X 4 and yes it will be available only on this version since it's a pure offroad vehicle which has been designed and tuned to be able to run on city roads with ease.

To give the answer I would first like to let you know the features of the car. Yes it's been made keeping in mind the city roads hence it's been loaded with all the safety features like the ABS, Airbag and a tough body on chassis.But if a large family then they have to think of some other alternatives since the back seats holds the place for two only and no scope of sneaking a third. Suspension are a bit on the stiffer side since it's a offroad vehicle made for city roads.

Is Mahindra Thar worth buying ?

For the people who likes to go on a weekend drive and likes to do offroading and likes to drive like the king of the road it's definitely the most preferred SUV.Although Mahindra tried to change many things from the previous generation Thar but yet some things hear and there are left out as it's not having electronic lock unlock, electronic oil lead opener to be mentioned some.But yes it's a big thumbs up to Mahindra for making the Thar Better then ever and it also has uncanny resemblance to the Jeep wrangler.
